Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, or a related field, and 10 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as an Enterprise Architect, Functional Consultant, or in a related/similar position.
  • Experience therein to include: 10 years in the following:
  • performing end to end implementations
  • ERP applications including Production Planning, Materials Management, Sales and Distribution, Quality Management and Plant Maintenance
  • implementation and management of Variant Configuration
  • performing software development/architecture
  • development tools, design standards, best practices, and architecture frameworks
  • agile methodology
  • ABAP debugging
  • integrating with other platforms including SAP BW and Manufacturing Execution System.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall architecture, design, related to SAP Production Planning configuration.
  • Responsible for full life cycle implementation of SAP Production Planning, from business requirements gathering through conducting business workshops, including gap analysis, blueprinting, design, configuration, testing, cutover, data migration, go-live, training, and post go-live support.
  • Responsible for software delivery including continuous improvement, practices, and principles.
  • Document major processes and development milestones.
  • Formulate and define systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of application systems and industry requirements.
  • Analyze business and user needs and follow through the full development life cycle.
  • Develop functional specifications for the development of reports, forms, configurations, interfaces, and enhancements in Production Planning, Plant Maintenance, Quality Management, and Materials Management areas.
  • Modify, maintain, and update complex Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) configuration and program routines.
  • Educate others in the workflow, business processes and reporting metrics enabled by ERP modules or other application systems.
  • Define, test, train, implement, and support one or more functional areas within the ERP System or other application systems.
  • Monitor developers in software development methods, processes, and implementation of those methods.
  • Ensure solutions align with the IT long-term strategy.
  • Develop test scenarios and scripts, perform unit testing, coordinate user acceptance testing to resolve and close defects.
  • Develop work instructions and job aids for end user training.
  • Manage business process mapping, process re-engineering and gap analysis.
  • Recommend opportunities for streamlining, consolidating, and optimizing processes.
  • Assist with solution strategies for business requirements, enhancement requests and defect fixes.
  • Identify, develop, and deliver business and technical solutions.
