About The Position

You will shape data center designs and interconnect architectures for strategic customers and partners—ensuring facilities are AI-ready and aligned to cluster needs and operational SLAs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 10–15 years in data center architecture/consulting or hyperscale infrastructure roles.
  • Ability to interpret designs and translate into customer-ready architectures.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with neo-cloud providers, hyperscalers, or AI infrastructure platforms.
  • Experience with high-density AI environments and sustainability metrics.
  • Strong understanding of how infra choices impact real-world training/inference workloads.
  • Benchmark harnesses, profiling tools, capacity/economics models, architecture documentation systems, and operational telemetry platforms.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end DC technical design authority for strategic deals: site fit, power train, cooling approach, density model, redundancy, security, and interconnect readiness.
  • Site due diligence & readiness: execute assessments, produce gap analysis, and define mitigation plans (schedule, cost, risk).
  • Translate DC constraints into platform impacts: rack density, fault domains, network topology, latency, and availability targets.
  • Own proposal-quality artifacts: Single-line power assumptions, density maps, floor/rack layouts (conceptual) Redundancy/fault domain model, commissioning assumptions, acceptance tests Interconnect architecture (carrier strategy, cross-connects, IX/WAN/metro) Operational SLA/SLO mapping (maintenance windows, DR posture, monitoring)
  • Cross-functional arbitration: resolve trade-offs across facility, network, compute, and operations teams.
  • Ability to travel frequently for customer workshops, data center / partner site visits, and exec meetings (typ. 25–40%, variable by deal stage).

Benefits

  • Join a forward-looking, inclusive workplace built on high-stakes innovation and global collaboration.
