As a Manager Project Manager at Capital One, you will drive strategy and execute on high priority projects for the company. As part of the HR Activate Project Management Office, you will partner with product, technology, and HR domain leaders to drive innovative customer experiences and strategic initiatives that create value for Capital One HR.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
• At least 5 years of Project Management experience
• At least 1 year of experience in tech implementations and managing cross-functional scope
• At least 1 years of experience with agile, waterfall, hybrid methodologies or a combination

Nice To Haves

• PMP, Lean, Agile, Six Sigma certification or a combination
• Experience with project management tools (Smartsheet, MS Project, Asana, Monday, Jira)
• Experience using decomposition to create project plans

Responsibilities

• Leading large complex, cross-functional projects by providing strategic direction to senior leaders and peers
• Quickly put structure in place through integrated project management in a dynamic, complex environment
• Operate effectively in whitespace to deliver results
• Design, develop, and manage project plans, RAID trackers and project artifacts, revising needs to meet changing requirements
• Problem solve and influence to ensure project plans deliver on intent
• Partner cross-functionally with project stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery
• Communicate efficiently and with excellent judgment to senior executives and diverse groups throughout the organization to manage, inform, and influence outcomes
