Tennant Company seeks a full-time Principal Development Engineer based in Eden Prairie, MN . Responsible for modernizing all aspects of Tennant’s overall B2B Digital Solutions strategy. This position requires a Master’s degree or equivalent in Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science and 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) IT experience. Must also have 12 months of experience with each of the following: (1) designing, testing, and deploying end-to-end integrations for electronic B2B processes using SAP CPI/PI/PO and EDI formats including partner onboarding and production rollout; (2) developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining new and legacy ETL pipelines using tools including Scribe, SSIS, and PowerAutomate ensuring data integrity and performance optimization; (3) analyzing database structures, writing complex SQL queries, and performing routine maintenance tasks; (4) providing IT support and troubleshooting for electronic purchasing, invoicing queries, and EDI-related integration and data issues; and (5) accessing and managing remote desktop servers to analyze SQL tables and develop ETL pipelines, ensuring secure data handling, transformation accuracy, and efficient cross-system integration. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently. Will accept experience gained before, during or after Master’s program. Position includes a telecommute benefit within commuting distance to an Eden Prairie, MN-area Tennant office, as directed. Salary: $145,018 to $172,300/year.
