This is a great opportunity to get involved with exciting and challenging EPC Power Projects. Responsibilities RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as a Mechanical Lead on an EPC Power Project. Provide strong leadership to drive mechanical technical design and project coordination. Manage Project Schedules and Budgets as well as provide weekly reports to communicate project status, issues, and needs. Prepare and maintain resource plans. Prepare equipment inquiry/RFQ packages. Perform equipment technical bid evaluations and prepare recommendations. Review equipment vendor documents for compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Develop job notes and technical scopes of work. Perform field walk downs to collect information required to complete work. Prepare man-hour estimates for proposals. Attend Client, Vendor, and Internal Team meetings. Present technical information to peers or other personnel for review, to implement operating procedures, and resolve system malfunctions. Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications. Provide specific to discipline technical expertise to the degree of preparing and providing training for other personnel: both within the company and for the customer. Lead, coordinate, and review work of a small staff of engineers and designers. As a Licensed Professional Engineer, seals and signs documentation produced by own work. May also seal and sign work done by engineers under direct supervision.
