The Receiver Exciter and Processing Architecture (REPA) Department has the opportunity to join their team as a Principal Engineering Support Specialist / Lab Lead. REPA is the focal point for receiver, exciter, beam steering, and signal processing technology in the Raytheon business. The department is responsible for the design, development, integration, support to production builds, and lifecycle support for Raytheon. This position will be 100% on-site & will be based in Tewksbury, MA.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
  • Experience working in lab and/or compliance environment.
  • Experience with test equipment.
  • Experience with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) controlled documentation requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Raytheon processes.
  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) is a PLUS.
  • Active U.S. Security Clearance is a PLUS.
  • Experience with SAP / PRISM.

Responsibilities

  • Manage several labs to ensure they are well organized and meet all command media requirements.
  • Ensure all safety requirements are met and adhered to in labs.
  • Point of Contact for all ISO 9001 and security audits.
  • Perform weekly checks for Satellite Accumulation Areas.
  • Post security access lists weekly.
  • Control access for all labs including requests for access and lab introductions.
  • Track all test equipment in and out of the lab for calibration cycles.
  • Track lab user training.
  • Assist engineers with test equipment needs and with their testing and analysis of engineering hardware.
  • Support engineering teams with logistics of moving engineering material between facilities and to/from suppliers.
  • Assist with the procurement and build of proof of design Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA) and Modules which includes reviewing the Bills of Material (BOM) to source parts, communicating with suppliers to obtain quotes and provide International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) controlled documentation.
  • Assemble Bills of Material kits for Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA) and Module assemblies.
