As a Principal Enterprise Architecture, an expert in their field, applying broad business knowledge and strategic insight surrounding emerging trends and technologies to solve complex problems and drive organizational results. Leads critical, high-impact projects and designs/implements innovative business strategies. Works with minimal oversight, frequently consulting senior leadership and influencing executive decisions. Serves as a mentor and assists others with challenging issues. Strategically design and implement enterprise-wide technology solutions, driving specification and standardization of platforms, technologies, and methodologies while ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives across all Lines of Business and Value Streams. Research new technologies to choose appropriate platforms for company wide use.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of related experience.
  • Certification is required in some areas.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Computer Science preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Alignment: Define IT Strategy, create technology roadmaps, and ensure IT initiatives align with business goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business and IT leaders, effectively communicate architecture vision to all stakeholders, and understand business drivers.
  • Solution Design and Implementation: Develop high-level architectural blueprints, guide technology selection, oversee project implementation, and ensure adherence to architecture standards.
  • Innovation and Trends: Stay current with emerging technologies, evaluate applicability, and advocate for innovative solutions.
  • Architecture Management and Governance: Develop and enforce architecture frameworks and standards, establish governance processes, and promote reuse of code and infrastructure.
