About The Position

Job Description Seeking a Principal Developer looking for an environment where we are using innovative technologies to develop and support our Associate Desktop Experience web-based applications. You will ensure that you are leading and owning the discussions on how best to complete the work for your squad. An Agile Principal Developer needs to have a strong technical background in multiple coding languages and is willing to assist/mentor more junior staff. Our organization will also allow you to grow and build your skills each month with dedicated time on Learning Days. As part of the Workplace Investment division within Fidelity Investments, you will join a Scrum team of 5-7 hardworking team members contributing to the highly visible modernization of our internal associate platform, Associate Desktop Experience (ADE) product area. The team will be passionate about developing a new service to support our phone associates to deliver industry standard customer service. Your primary focus will be as a member on an Agile squad that partners closely with Business Product Areas. Requirements

  • 10+ years of software development experience on business critical, enterprise-wide applications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science / similar technical subject area and or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools (JenkinsCore, Udeploy)
  • Experience with Oracle RDBMS and Mysql
  • Proven track record with SpringBoot, Java, Node, GraphQL, Angular
  • Proven experience with Azure and AWS and other cloud-based development methodologies / best-practices
  • Excellent understanding of REST concepts, API standards and developing REST APIs with Spring Boot or NodeJS
  • Experience with Test automation for unit, functional and non-functional testing (Postman, SOATEST, SOASTA, Cucumber).
  • Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
