Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 12 years of relevant experience
  • At least 10 years of experience working with the physical and logical architecture of data systems
  • Ability to lead and innovate to meet business goals and objectives
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to explain findings to non-technical Stakeholders
  • Proven expertise of big data technologies and cloud computing (5 year of Experience in Snowflake & Azure )
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python, SQL with hands-on knowledge of modern data engineering tools and practices.
  • Knowledge of at least one data modeling software tool such as Erwin or ER/Studio, Experience managing high-performing engineering teams and mentoring junior engineers in complex technical environments.
  • Experience and domain knowledge of enterprise systems of records such as SAP for ERP, Salesforce for CRM and associated E2E processes etc.
  • Background in enterprise domains such as Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Experience and others.
  • Working knowledge of languages such as Spark, Scala, Rust, C#, Java or similar.
  • Familiarity with IT Operations, ITIL practices and other service management frameworks.
  • Ownership and Pride in your work and willingness to work in a diverse, cross-functional environment.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Manage Architect for data analytics use cases.
  • Supervise EDW initiatives considering user needs, new capabilities, and tech advancements.
  • Oversee Analytics, AI and Automation initiatives across Finance and Customer Experience Enterprise functions
  • Innovate and implement technologies/methodologies for data management
  • Drive evaluation & observability first mindset bringing Gen AI reliability to the center stage.
  • Strategize around creating a robust data flywheel ensuring a roadmap for continuous learning systems.
  • Shape organizational data governance policies and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Serve as key advisor to senior leadership, driving data-driven decision-making and fostering data excellence
  • Maintain solutions for data modeling and metadata management
  • Design, build and manage data pipelines for data structures encompassing data transformation mapping, data flow diagrams, logical and physical data models, and metadata collection
  • Work with both IT and business in developing, managing, and integrating business intelligence reporting, analytics, and data science output into business processes and workflows
  • Translate data strategies into data integration frameworks and reporting to enable business analytics
  • Utilize a standard common business vocabulary, outline high level integrated designs to meet requirements, and align with enterprise strategy and related business architectures
  • Leads planning sessions with customers to improve business processes and prioritize investments in data and infrastructure
  • Works closely with Enterprise Architects to assure all systems are in line with the long-term IT strategy
  • Proactively analyzes existing data structures and reports to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvements
  • Utilize best practices for naming, governing, managing, modeling, cleansing, transforming, moving, storing, and searching all data
  • Ensure changes to the data environment are compliant to the architectural standards
  • Lead design and data model reviews providing constructive feedback to Application Developers
