Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world We are seeking a Platform Infrastructure Engineer to join the Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) software department supporting the Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor (LTAMDS) SW Integrated Product Team (IPT). The LTAMDS SW IPT is responsible for developing, integrating, and testing and deploying software solutions for advanced radar systems in the missile defense domain. The Platform Infrastructure Engineer will join the Platform, COTS & Infrastructure team developing and maintaining COTS and Operating Systems (OSs) What You Will Do Red Hat Linux (or vendor equivalent) administration Contribute to the evolution of our Continuous Integration CI)/Continuous Delivery (CD) infrastructure with Jenkins, GitLab, and Ansible, enabling automated test, build, and deploy pipelines Troubleshoot applications & infrastructure services on Linux based OS. Lead team to incorporate cyber based solutions to tactical system Collaborate across teams to define requirements and dependencies on OS(s), COTS and Hardware Support full lifecycle integration including OS setup, test execution, regression analysis, and root cause resolution of site issues. Support software teams with integration and testing of software systems across Linux-based server platform and radar sensor hardware (RHEL, FPGAs, and sensor hardware) Follow established development practices and processes to maintain the configuration management of deliverables

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience
  • Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Experience in deployment and debugging in Linux and Dev Sec Ops Environments
  • Experience with network, performance, and system health monitoring
  • Direct experience with hardware-software-COTS integration, including radar or other similar systems

Nice To Haves

  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Experience with missile defense systems, radar, or DoD large-scale systems
  • Prior participation in SW FQT preparation and execution
  • Prior experience working at government deployed sites as some travel maybe required (%10 percent)
  • Experience with the following tools and technologies: C++, C, Perl, Python, Bash, DOORS, Jenkins, MATLAB, and/or Grafana
  • Experience in formal qualification testing of embedded software products
  • Experience in formal qualification testing of software products integrated together as a complex software deployment
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Automation & Build: Jenkins, GitLab, Artifactory, Conan, Ansible, CMake, GCC
  • Test Frameworks: Robot Framework, Squish, Google Test/Mock
  • Hardware Integration: FPGAs, radar sensor interfaces, high-bandwidth data systems, SNMP
  • Experience with Container Platforms (e.g. Podman, Docker, Kubernetes)
