About The Position

Responsible for defining the strategic direction and leading the design, implementation, and continuous optimization of information systems that support Baptist Health‘s enterprise infrastructure. Architects scalable, secure, and high-performance network solutions both on-premises and across multi-cloud environments—including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)—within a robust cloud foundation and governance framework. Designs and manages complex routing protocols, Cisco ACI software-defined networking (SDN) fabrics, and Palo Alto firewall deployments to ensure secure, resilient, and efficient network operations that enable critical business functions and cloud transformation initiatives. Oversees system requirements analysis, network modeling, capacity planning, and integration to maintain security, availability, and compliance. Leads troubleshooting efforts, hardware and software upgrades, and comprehensive system testing. Manages and mentors cross-functional teams responsible for network installation, maintenance, and security countermeasures while coordinating vendor relationships and delivering detailed design documentation and technical proposals. Estimated salary range for this position is $137846.35 - $179200.26 / year depending on experience.

Requirements

• Bachelors
• 12 years of exp in network architecture,design, &strategy within complex enterprise environments.
• Expertise in setting strategy &leading cross-functional teams &vendor relationships, including Cisco,Palo Alto,&VMware.
• Possesses expert knowledge of complementary security controls such as WAF,DDoS mitigation,micro-segmentation,IDS/IDP,NAC,&MFA.
• Experience in wireless network design &implementation.
• Expertise in cloud technologies &infrastructure, including networking components like VNets,VPCs,VGWs,DNS,load balancing, &certificate services.
• Skilled in scripting,automation, &software-defined networking using tools/platforms such as Postman,Terraform,Ansible,&Python.
• Extensive knowledge of advanced network protocols & practices, including MPLS/SR,optical networking,LISP,VXLAN,IPv4/IPv6, 802.1X,segmentation,QoS, &IPAM.
• Expert understanding of network technologies including Cisco ACI,SDN,SDWAN,routing,switching,firewalls,wireless,application load balancing,&network visibility solutions.
• Experienced in internet policy & design, including ARIN,IRR,IXPs,BGP policy design,RPKI, &DDoS mitigation.
• Proven ability to design,plan capacity,optimize performance,&manage the rollout of diverse network infrastructures.
• Accountable for setting strategy across all these domains to support business &cloud transformation goals.
• Minimum Required Experience: 10 Years
