About The Position

C.H. Robinson is seeking a Principal Procurement Analyst to lead high-impact, global procurement initiatives. In this role, you will drive end-to-end execution of complex sourcing events, partnering with customers, carriers, and internal teams to deliver cost savings, insights, and value-added solutions. You will lead cross-functional project teams, own customer-facing deliverables, and facilitate key project milestones while balancing creativity, consistency, and results. In this role, you will also advance procurement methodologies, support strategic planning, and help shape the future roadmap of a global procurement organization. At C.H. In this role, you will engage with peers on-site two days a week, igniting creativity and driving impactful results. With the flexibility for remote work three days week, this role strikes the perfect balance between teamwork and autonomy.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 6 years of previous procurement experience

  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
  • Previous project management experience leading global projects
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to the appropriate global audience
  • Lead cross‑functional teams without formal authority, effectively influencing and partnering to drive results

Responsibilities

  • Lead global procurement and logistics initiatives, managing complex internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Build and sustain strategic partnerships focused on cost savings, value creation, and innovative service offerings
  • Own customer and carrier transitions, including coordination with transportation management system providers
  • Deliver benchmarking, KPI analysis, and executive-level business reviews for customers and carriers
  • Direct cross-functional, global project teams, securing resources, alignment, and stakeholder commitment
  • Develop statements of work, drive customer sign-off, and secure repeat business opportunities
  • Facilitate project targets, manage scope, risks, and issues, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
  • Advance procurement methodologies, tools, infrastructure, and presentation standards
  • Partner with sales, account management, and product teams to support growth and new service development
