This role leads the strategy and evolution of a core cloud management platform, focused on provisioning, automation, and orchestration across hybrid and edge environments. The Principal Product Manager will define the product roadmap, prioritize features, and work closely with engineering, UX, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and enterprise-grade solutions. The ideal candidate will engage directly with customers to understand real-world needs, translating them into impactful product capabilities. This position balances strategic vision with hands-on execution, influencing internal teams and external stakeholders. Strong technical expertise, customer empathy, and the ability to drive results at scale are essential. You will shape the future of the platform, ensuring it remains best-in-class in a rapidly evolving cloud market.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading platform- or infrastructure-focused product management in enterprise or cloud software
  • Strong understanding of virtualization (VMware/ESXi, KVM), containers and Kubernetes, hybrid/on-prem infrastructure, and automation/IaC (Terraform, Ansible)
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear customer value and product strategy
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution and delivery focus
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with engineers, field teams, executives, and customers
  • Experience managing full product lifecycle from strategy to launch
  • Analytical, customer-focused, and capable of prioritizing competing initiatives in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve the core platform product vision, roadmap, and capabilities, including workload provisioning, automation, orchestration, and infrastructure management
  • Partner with engineering and architecture teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance platform services
  • Act as the voice of the customer, gathering insights from enterprise clients and field teams to inform product strategy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX, sales, solution architects, and support to ensure successful feature delivery
  • Evangelize platform value and roadmap to internal teams, partners, and customers; support field enablement and expectations management
  • Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings to maintain product leadership
  • Support launch planning, performance tracking, and continuous improvement of platform capabilities
