About The Position

As a Principal Product Manager, you will lead the incubation, development, and scaling of strategic product portfolios, driving data-informed decisions and customer-centric strategies. This role requires collaboration across multiple teams to align product vision with business goals, ensuring scalable solutions and successful go-to-market plans. You will be the thought leader, influence stakeholders, and manage product lifecycles to ensure successful adoption. Your expertise in analyzing market trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies will be essential to delivering innovative products that meet organizational objectives and enhance user experiences. About the team: The Identity Customer Experience (IDCX) team, part of the Customer Data & Identity group, focuses on building & enhancing customer identity-driven experiences across various customers interations with Walmart. IDCX innovates in customer identification and leverages proprietary data to deepen Walmart’s understanding of and relationship with our customers. The team collaborates extensively with partner groups to deliver seamless and elevated customer experiences leveraging our data platform.

Requirements

  • 10 years’ experience in Product Management, preferably building customer facing products
  • Proven expertise in product strategy, roadmap development, and scaling for complex products.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in data-driven decision making, including product and feature analytics, and customer insights.
  • Experience leading product development lifecycles using Agile methodologies and MVP approaches.
  • A great storyteller, excellent at communicating complex information clearly and building alignment among senior stakeholders.
  • A strong mindset of ownership to ensure product success
  • Combination of strategic thinking and rigorous execution
  • Ability to discover new opportunities anchored around customer centricity
  • Self-initiate, ability to operate with minimal guidance
  • Knowledge of emerging industry trends, technology innovation, and domain-specific best practices.
  • Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 9 years’ experience in product management.
  • Option 2: 11 years’ experience in product management or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 8 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products
