Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain core features across frontend (JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks) and backend (Django, cloud services) components.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product and design to deliver high-impact solutions.
- Build, test, and deploy production-quality code using continuous integration and test-driven development practices.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence.
- Adapt rapidly to evolving technical requirements and startup priorities, making thoughtful trade-offs between speed and quality.
- Work on cutting-edge frontend tools such as Chrome APIs and virtual DOM frameworks to enhance user experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in frontend technologies with experience in modern JavaScript frameworks like Vue, React, or Angular.
- Experience with backend frameworks such as Django or Flask.
- Comfortable working across the full stack with a primary focus on frontend development.
- Excellent communication skills and experience in collaborative, team-oriented environments.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior team members effectively.
- Demonstrated agility and enthusiasm for working in fast-paced startup settings.
