About the position
As a Principal Software Engineer, you play a role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our software solutions. Your expertise in software development and commitment to delivering high-quality, compliant solutions for our customers will guide your day to day. You will work with a variety of technologies and frameworks to complete tasks in an efficient manner. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovative solutions in an agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise software applications
- Collaborates with the product team on requirements elicitation to deliver software
- Authors and reviews unit/integration test
- Participate in code and software review processes
- Collaborates with members of the product, test, and software engineering organizations
- Demonstrates clear leadership across multiple unrelated segments of the broader software organization
- Plays a lead role on strategic initiatives that deliver significant business value to Certara
- Able to lead multiple teams and gain consensus through technical and facilitative leadership
- Thinks strategically across one or more technology, application, or product areas
- Capable of a near executive level of strategic planning, evaluation, and goal setting
- Utilizes a strong understanding of the business and organization to make effective and efficient decisions
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in similar roles
- Experience working in a highly collaborative agile software organization
