About The Position

Lead the technical architecture design and implementation of Amazon's Voice Assistant technologies and Gen AI solutions for automotive manufacturers while developing strategic partnerships with automotive OEMs and tier-1 suppliers. Create and validate proof-of-concept implementations and drive technical decision-making and problem-solving for complex integration challenges, working directly with C-level executives and senior leadership teams at major automotive manufacturers to align technology solutions with their business strategies. Provide thought leadership and technical consultation to internal and external stakeholders, designing scalable, reliable, and secure solutions using Amazon's technology stack. Lead cross-functional teams in delivering innovative automotive solutions and develops technical roadmaps and strategic recommendations for product development, directly contributing to Amazon's revenue growth targets and market expansion in the automotive sector through successful OEM partnerships and technology implementations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or as a Solutions Architect, or a related occupation.
Must have two years of experience in the following skill(s): (1) experience in cloud architecture and distributed systems; (2) hands-on experience with each of the following: (a) voice technologies and AI/ML implementations; (b) using Amazon Bedrock or similar Gen AI platform for developing and deploying large language models; and (c) voice assistant Software Development Kit (SDK) integration in automotive environments; (3) experience in automotive software development and integration along with automotive industry standards and protocols; (4) proficiency in programming languages C, C++, and Java; (5) expertise in connected vehicle ecosystems including telematics, over-the-air (OTA) updates, and vehicle data management; (6) experience in smart home integration and IoT protocols; and (7) delivering cross-functional projects and working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
Domestic and/or international travel up to 25% to perform role responsibilities may be required.
