About The Position

As a Principal System Engineer, you'll lead the identification and tactics to eliminate customer effort and will play a pivotal role in reinventing Business customer interactions, simplifying Care operations, and enabling AI‑powered capabilities across our Business Care & Sales ecosystem. The Principal System Engineer will drive end‑to-end process analysis, workflow design, and technology solutioning across Business Care & Sales operations including Billing & Collections, and next‑generation contact center platforms. This individual will blend Lean/Six Sigma process engineering, enterprise systems design, and AI workflow innovation to reduce customer effort, accelerate resolution, and streamline operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science.
  • 7+ years of related experience.
  • Certification is required in some areas.
  • Must have a strong understanding of computers (hardware and OS), network, and software architecture.

Responsibilities

  • System Design and Architecture: Design and create scalable, high-performance, and reliable system architectures and platforms.
  • Requirements Analysis and Integration: Translate business needs into technical specifications and ensure seamless integration of system components.
  • Technical Leadership and Collaboration: Provide guidance to development teams, align technical solutions with business objectives, and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Performance, Reliability, and Troubleshooting: Conduct performance and reliability analysis, and resolve system issues and bottlenecks.
  • Documentation, Security, and Continuous Improvement: Maintain detailed system documentation, ensure security and compliance, and stay updated with industry trends for ongoing improvement.
