About The Position

The ACTT Systems Engineering Teams are looking for an experienced Sr. Systems Engineer to support the expansion of our Air Combat Test & Training (ACTT) System capabilities. In this role you will support the team in performing all aspects of systems engineering design and development, including bidding, requirements capture, system design, system integration, system verification & validation testing, and support for certification and qualification. Sr. Systems Engineers may serve as a customer interface as part of the development team. This position is located onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date
  • Experience with development activities of moderate sized project with systems requirements and test procedures
  • Subject Matter Expert in at least one technical area
  • Must be able to travel up to 20% throughout the year

  • Experience with air combat or military training concepts of operations
  • Experience with US export regulations: International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
