We are seeking an innovative and talented Principal Systems Engineer with strong leadership skills and a demonstrated history of identifying and problem solving to join our Systems Evaluation team. The candidate must have the ability to be a technically minded problem-solver, be able to focus on the task at hand. Location: Aurora, Colorado
Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.
- Experience in LINUX operating systems executing test scripts and managing test environments.
- Experience in problem-solving and proactively identify potential issues, perform comprehensive analysis, and implement effective resolutions with minimal supervision.
- Experience building and sustaining working relationships with customers and cross-functional organizations.
- An active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.
Nice To Haves
- Scripting experience in MATLAB, Perl, SQL, UNIX
- Experience with mission customer systems
Responsibilities
- Perform analysis and validation of systems performance.
- Develop new test plans based on test data analysis and customer needs.
- Brief customer and senior management on results as required
- Act as subject matter expert to technical working group
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex mission system performance issues
