To that end, we are looking for a Principal Technical Program Manager to drive security in Microsoft's third-party partner ecosystem. In this role, you'll work closely with our engineering and business counterparts to develop strategies and technical solutions for securing the platforms that our partners use to publish software and engage with customers - ultimately protecting our partners in addition to end customers themselves. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years experience engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
• 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
• 2+ years experience in a cybersecurity role
• 2+ experience in a role involving development of platforms for third party engagement (e.g. app marketplaces).

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic alignment across engineering and business teams on security enhancements to Microsoft's third-party partner platforms
• Work with engineering teams to design solutions that meet security goals
• Work with teams across the security organization to ensure that risks to Microsoft's partner ecosystem are regularly assessed and understood
• Drive a regular rhythm of business to ensure that teams and leadership remain aligned on progress, challenges, and upcoming work
• Work with business teams to communicate effectively to external partners and customers about security initiatives in this area
