About The Position

In this role, you will work on Missionforce, Salesforce products supporting mission-critical work across the U.S. Department of Defense, the Intelligence Community, Aerospace, and Allied Nations. You will help create new design patterns and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to bring bold ideas to life. You will lead the team in shaping and articulating a compelling product vision, applying expert visualization skills, thought leadership, and close partnership with product and technology leaders. You will immerse yourself in the full end-to-end experience design process, from storyboards and journey maps to high-fidelity mockups and functional prototypes. Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience designing and delivering products from start to finish as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Experience working in or adjacent to secure environments.
  • Ability to travel as needed to customer sites.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen (U.S. born or naturalized) living on U.S. soil who does not hold dual citizenship with the ability to meet customer and government screening standards applicable to this role.
  • Active Top Secret clearance required; TS/SCI preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), or Federal Civilian agencies.
  • Background in defense/aerospace industries or operational military/logistics experience.
  • Familiarity with IL5/IL6/CNSS #1253 requirements or deployment to classified environments.
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design methods and best practices.
  • Experience or a strong interest in leveraging AI tools (like Cursor, Replit, or LLMs) to explore, prototype, or automate design workflows.
  • A track record of going beyond static mocks to explore how emerging tech can solve user problems.
  • Ability to step back and see a project’s larger ecosystem, with a focus on solutions that improve the entire user flow, not just a single feature.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, persuade others, and build consensus on projects with varying degrees of ambiguity.
  • Expert knowledge of current design tools such as Figma, along with an ability to quickly learn and adopt new tools as they emerge.
  • Strong active listening skills with an ability to build close, trusting relationships across Engineering and Product Management.
  • An internal compass that points toward ethics, ensuring AI-driven experiences are designed with responsibility and inclusivity at the core.
