About The Position

Join our team at QPI and help us deliver high-quality print products that meet and exceed our customers’ expectations. We're seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Print Press Operator to set up and operate our printing press efficiently and safely.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor press issues
• Basic math skills and ability to read standard/metric rulers
• Ability to pass a color vision test
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
• Strong attention to detail and proven attendance history
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for most of the shift

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate printing press to match color standards and approved proofs
• Read and interpret production tickets and PDF drawings
• Image print plates and complete job tickets accurately
• Minimize material waste and maximize production rates
• Perform routine maintenance (cleaning, blanket changes, lubrication)
• Follow safety procedures and work collaboratively in a team environment
