In this role, you will set up and operate printing equipment, monitor quality, and ensure production runs efficiently while meeting customer specifications. Requirements

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
Ability to read and interpret job tickets, instructions, and production documentation
Basic computer skills including opening, closing, and printing files
Ability to perform basic math calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and quality focus
Ability to operate equipment and meet production and quality standards
Ability to distinguish colors
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
Frequently required to move throughout the facility
Regularly moves materials including lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying items up to 25 pounds or more

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in a print or production environment

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, adjust, and troubleshoot printing equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines
Complete all required paperwork to track jobs through production
Read and interpret job orders to determine quantities, paper specifications, colors, and special instructions
Ensure supplies are stocked and gather materials needed for production runs
Load and unload paper stock and set up or load print files
Monitor product quality during print runs and inspect samples to identify adjustments needed
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to maintain quality and reduce downtime
Maintain work areas, tools, and equipment in a clean and organized condition
Follow standard work methods and safety practices to ensure efficient and safe production
