About The Position
The Print Shop Associate supports daily screen printing operations by assisting press teams, handling garments, and maintaining quality and efficiency on the shop floor. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build skills in screen printing while contributing to consistent, on-time production. This is a hands-on, entry-level role with opportunities to grow into more advanced production or logistics positions.
Requirements
- Ability to stand, lift, and perform repetitive tasks during shifts
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Willingness to learn and take direction
Nice To Haves
- Prior screenprinting or production experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist with press setup, operation, and breakdown
- Load and unload garments during print runs
- Support ink changes, cleaning, and basic press maintenance
- Follow production schedules and supervisor direction
- Monitor prints for quality, alignment, and defects
- Remove and flag misprints or damaged garments
- Ensure finished goods meet production standards
- Maintain consistency throughout production runs
- Stage garments, screens, and materials for upcoming jobs
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Support efficient job changeovers and handoffs
- Follow safety protocols and production procedures
- Use equipment and materials properly
- Communicate issues or concerns promptly
- Help with any ad hoc tasks or projects that may be assigned by Print Shop Leadership.
