About The Position

We are looking or someone to join our Specialty Care Center team as a Authorization Coordinator! We look forward to seeing your applications. What You’ll Do: Pre-certifies medication and home treatments therapies. Obtains information to promote patient safety, facilities care and ensures coverage (if applicable). Schedules supply deliveries and communicates with patients. Performs delegated nursing functions under supervision of the Registered Nurse using established procedures, policies, guidelines, and standards. Collaborates with other health care providers to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievements of desired patient outcomes. Documents and reports observations of the Registered Nurse or related department. Accurately documents patient care provided on appropriate hospital forms, and within the established timeframes. Provide patient/significant other health teaching as delegated by and observed by the RN. Participates in identification of clinical or operational performance improvement opportunities and assist in performance improvement activities that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care. What You Bring: Licensed as an LPN in the state of Ohio; completes twenty four (24) contact hours of approved CE during each two (2) years licensed renewal period consistent with requirements of Ohio Boarding Of Nursing. Maintain continuous American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification; certified IV therapy. Or Masters in social work, Licensed as an Independent Social Worker in the state of Ohio. Requirements
