Requirements

• 10+ years of legal experience, with 5 years focused on privacy and data security.
• Strong negotiation skills with experience in commercial contracts.
• Proven leadership experience in high-growth or SaaS settings.
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture and data flow.
• J.D. from an accredited law school with an active license to practice.
• Knowledge of global privacy laws including GDPR and CCPA/CPRA.
• Pragmatic mindset prioritizing business enablement while managing risk.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global legal strategy for privacy and data security.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration on privacy aspects of contracts.
• Provide expert guidance on privacy, security, and compliance matters.
• Oversee incident management and legal response strategies.
• Ensure legal requirements are integrated into technical operations.
• Support the Security, Engineering, and IT teams in compliance initiatives.
