About The Position

The Private Banking Intern will assist the private banking team in delivering tailored financial services to high-net-worth individuals, families, and businesses. This role provides hands-on experience in wealth management, client relationship management, and financial planning. The intern will gain insight into the daily operations of a private banking team and develop a deep understanding of financial products and services.

Requirements

• Multilingual capabilities for serving diverse client bases (Spanish & English required)

Responsibilities

• Client Support:
• Assist in preparing client presentations, proposals, and account reviews.
• Support the onboarding process for new clients, including document collection and verification
• Address client inquiries and escalate issues to the appropriate team members.
• Research and Analysis:
• Conduct market and financial product research to support client solutions.
• Analyze client portfolios and recommend adjustments based on financial objectives.
• Stay updated on market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes.
• Operational Support:
• Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, account updates, and record maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations during all client interactions.
• Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate seamless client services.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with Private Bankers, Investment Advisors, and other team members.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and strategy discussions.
• Learning and Development:
• Shadow senior team members to understand the nuances of private banking.
• Engage in self-directed learning about financial products, investment strategies, and client relationship management.
