About The Position

Dime Community Bank (Dime) is currently hiring a Private Banking (Not Wealth Management or Investment Banking) Intern for its 2026 Summer Internship Program (see Responsibilities and Qualifications below). The hourly wage minimum = $17; maximum = $19. The exact pay may vary based on skills, experience, training, licenses/certifications, language necessities, and location.

Requirements

• Rising Junior or Senior currently enrolled in an accredited University/College pursuing degree(s) in Accounting, Business, or Finance .
• Motivated.

• Proactive contributor.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Able to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, in Hauppauge, Long Island.

Responsibilities

• On-boarding new accounts for new and existing clients.
• Enrolling new and existing clients for Treasury Management Services.
• Uploading bank documents into Director (scanning and uploading program).
• Processing transactions in the retail branch as necessary (e.g., tenant security deposits, bank check requests, customer deposits, transfers, loan requests, etc.).
• Accompanying private bankers on site visits / networking events, as necessary.
