We are actively looking to hire compassionate, energetic LPNs & RNs to help care for our home healthcare clients. We are willing to train in G-tube, trach, and ventilator areas if needed . Our nursing supervisors are eagerly awaiting to teach nurses. Private Duty Nurse (RN or LPN) for 35 yo male, with a g-tube and trach in Rosedale, MD. The following shift(s) are available for this case: Tuesday: 11P-7A (hours are flexible) Saturday: 11P-7A & 7A-3P (hours are flexible for both night and day shifts) Sunday: 11P-7A & 7A-3P (hours are flexible for both night and day shifts)
Requirements
- Active/unrestricted nursing license in the State of Maryland or Multistate compact license - Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Confidence to work independently
- Basic knowledge of G-tube/Trach care is preferred; however, willing to train qualified and interested candidates.
- Vent experience preferred (willing to train qualified candidates)
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Working one-on-one in the client's home
- Complete nursing assessment
- Administer medication & and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care
- Document nursing notes in a clear and concise manner
