About The Position

The PRN LPN or RN plays a critical role in delivering high-quality nursing care on an as-needed basis across various healthcare settings within the United States. This position requires flexibility and adaptability to respond to fluctuating patient care demands while maintaining professional standards and compliance with healthcare regulations. The nurse will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to assess patient conditions, administer medications, and implement care plans tailored to individual needs. Requirements

• Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States.
• Completion of an accredited nursing program (LPN or RN level).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent.
• Demonstrated clinical experience in a healthcare setting relevant to the position.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a PRN capacity.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in acute care, long-term care, or outpatient settings.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and documentation software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessment, monitoring, and documentation of patient health status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and according to nursing protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times.
• Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-treatment care.
• Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to maintain a safe clinical environment.
