The Medication Aide is responsible for safely administering prescribed medications and treatments to residents in accordance with state regulations and facility policies. This role includes observing residents during medication administration, documenting accurately, and communicating any concerns to the Clinical Director, Wellness Coordinators, or designated personnel. In addition to medication administration, the Medication Aide supports residents with activities of daily living —including personal hygiene, social engagement, cognitive support, and physical well‑being. You’ll help promote independence, honor resident choice, and uphold dignity through every interaction. PRN Scheduling Expectations This is a PRN (as‑needed) position. PRN team members are essential in maintaining consistent, high‑quality care by filling shifts during staff absences, emergencies, and other urgent staffing needs. While hours are not guaranteed, candidates should be reliable, flexible, and willing to work when called upon —sometimes on short notice—during periods of increased need.
