About The Position

The Department of Psychology seeks qualified applicants for its research recruitment open pool. Positions will be limited duration appointments that are part-time or short-term, with contracts not to exceed one year; some projects may carry the possibility of renewal up to a total of three years, depending on programmatic need, funding, and performance. Successful candidates will share the Department of Psychology’s commitment to an inclusive environment and work effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds. Research Assistant positions will conduct research under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI); Research Associate positions will conduct research with only general guidance from the PI. These positions have the opportunity to acquire research experience, contribute to program goals, and receive an annual performance evaluation. Postdoctoral Research Scholars will conduct research under the direction of a faculty member for the purposes of acquiring ongoing research training after completing their doctoral degree. In addition to further career development, the postdoctoral research scholar and PI will create and follow mentoring and individual development plans. Applications will be accepted on a continuous basis. Screening of applications will take place as positions become available and will continue until positions are filled. Salary will be dependent upon education, experience, and available funding.
