Under the general supervision of the Clinic Manager/Supervisor, this position is responsible for scheduling surgical procedures. Key responsibilities include preparing clinical data for submission of request for prior authorization, maintaining appropriate logs, and documentation of authorizations status. Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or GED: High School diploma or equivalent education/experience.
  • 1 year experience with medical terminology, coding, and medical charting.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical Assistant, Billing, or Front Office Management certification from an accredited vocational school.
  • Prior work experience in referral authorizations and Surgical Scheduling.
