About The Position

The Process Automation Specialist builds and maintains automation solutions that streamline operations across Client Operations. You will write code, solve real problems, and directly improve how the department processes and delivers work for internal and external stakeholders. Beyond building, you will help identify where automation can make the biggest impact and champion those opportunities within the team. This is a hands-on role with room to grow. You will work across a range of technologies and develop new skills, including databases, containerization, and AI-assisted development, as the team's tooling and capabilities evolve.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a coding boot camp, internship, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Familiarity with version control technologies
  • Familiarity with relational databases and SQL
  • Strong familiarity with Excel and Google Sheets
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
  • Self‑motivated and organized, with demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Collaborative mindset, comfortable partnering with peers, management, and cross‑functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Orlando, FL area preferred; local team members are encouraged to work on-site at least once per week

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 1+ years of professional experience in process automation, software development, or a closely related role
  • Experience with API integrations and web scraping techniques
  • Experience working within structured project management workflows
  • Experience with Python's broader ecosystem, such as data manipulation and automation libraries
  • Familiarity with containerization concepts
  • Familiarity with additional automation tools and scripting languages

Responsibilities

  • Writes clean, maintainable code to build new automation features across a variety of tools and languages.
  • Releases and maintains thorough documentation of deliverables for both internal and external stakeholders in the company's work management platform.
  • Integrates AI tools into daily development work, staying current as the tooling evolves.
  • Regularly reviews and refactors existing code to improve consistency and performance.
  • Maintains reference data and ingested datasets across databases and spreadsheets that support automation workflows.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves bugs, working across teams when needed to address issues quickly.
  • Scopes potential automation projects by gathering requirements and assessing feasibility.
  • Stays current with the team's tools and the broader landscape, surfacing new capabilities or technologies for the team to evaluate.
  • Contributes to other team projects and initiatives as needed to support successful delivery.
