Defining and driving the implementation of the Target Operating Model for "run the ledger" and "use the ledger" processes and teams across operations, finance and business, in close partnership with BAU process owners Defining detailed target state process maps covering ledger operations, accounting, Ledger and Close processes within the Oracle SaaS environment, and intersections with partner applications (both up and downstream), including required process changes in Front Office and Operations Establishing transition plan from current to target state org, including integration of legacy teams into new operating model and adoption of latest cloud and self-service tools / functionality across teams and functions Partnering with implementation leads to ensure all operating model and process activities are aligned with overall release and go-live schedules Supporting the preparation and execution of testing for UAT Supporting training and implementation readiness Oversight of the creation of new standard operating procedures related to Op Model Identifying opportunities to drive wider operating model and organizational change ahead of Strategic Ledger implementation 5-8+ years of relevant experience with global corporations and financial services experience gained in Banking, Financial Services or in an associated consulting role Indirect or hands-on accounting experience related to supporting financial close activities such as ledger validations and reconciliations, ledger-based controls, and ledger processing a strong plus Experience in implementing Technology Enabled Transformation or Digital Transformations in the Financial Services industry Experience in large scale Target Operating Model and process design and implementation Proven track record of significant organizational transformations and SaaS enabled ERP transformations (Oracle, SAP, Workday) Ability to self-start, identify, engage with and influence a wide and diverse group of senior stakeholders to MD level Experience in successfully managing projects and programs through the full project lifecycle, from conception through rollout and ongoing support Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) enabled Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) transformations (Oracle, SAP, Workday) Ability to build strong partnerships; communication and stakeholder managements skills are key. Excellent oral and written communications skills in English High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for reporting and PowerPoint for presentation development Bachelors' degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, Engineering, or related field Assessment, Change Management, Communication, Credible Challenge, Management Reporting, Problem Solving, Program Management, Risk Management, Stakeholder Management, Strategic Planning.
