About The Position
Responsible for the implementation of processes, equipment, and the manufacturing of prototypes to support the successful completion of product development projects.
Requirements
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Able to effectively collaborate in cross-functional team environments.
- Proficient problem solver that uses engineering principles, structured techniques, and creative critical thinking to generate practical solutions and contingencies.
- Able to adapt and excel in dynamic situations.
- Detail oriented.
- Strong independent work ethic and results driven.
- Proficient in computer and software use particularly Microsoft apps and services.
- B.S. Chemical Engineer, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering from an ABET accredited university or equivalent.
- Minimum three years of extrusion or injection molding experience.
- Solid understanding of the relationship between material processing and material properties.
- Strong applied statistical skills particularly in process capabilities and experimental design.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of cable processes and design are desired
Responsibilities
- Manufacturing product development prototypes.
- Designing and specifying process equipment and overseeing its commissioning.
- Designing and implementing in-process tooling.
- Implementing process set-up instructions and process validation tests.
