Be a part of the exciting Sabre 3D process development and engineering team. Our mission is to advance and innovate WFE (wafer fab equipment) electrodeposition process and technology, in the field of wafer level packaging and heterogeneous integration.

Nice To Haves

• Pursuing a Master's or PhD degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or Material Science
• Available to intern for 6-months ideally starting in February 2026
• Hands on experience working in a laboratory
• Experience working on/troubleshooting complex equipment and systems
• Knowledge in electrochemistry/electrodeposition a plus especially in areas of copper, tin and tin-alloys, and nickel

Responsibilities

• Participate in projects applying engineering and electrodeposition methodologies towards developing features on Lam SABRE 3D electroplating system to enhance equipment and reactor performance.
• Support testing and characterization in process and product development. These duties include setting up and running bench scale experiments, operation of a deposition development tool, chemistry and material analysis, and use of metrology tools to measure and characterize on-wafer deposition performance.
• Further R&D support activities also include data compilation, organization, and conducting scientific journal research.
