About The Position

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Troubleshoot moderately complex technical activities for manufacturing and clarify production process specification requirements to ensure accurate and efficient production. 2. Lead small cross-functional teams in support of division objectives. 3. Write experiments in support of department objectives. 4. Design assembly tools, fixtures and moderately complex processes. 5. Develop and sustain manufacturing processes and systems. 6. Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles. 7. Understand. Create. Simplify. 8. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Two-year degree or equivalent experience Minimum of 2 years' experience providing process, engineering, or equipment programming support in a manufacturing environment Working knowledge of Design for Manufacturability guidelines Working knowledge of statistical or data analysis methods Working knowledge of project management methods Working knowledge of the manufacturing processes and equipment relevant to the role. Intermediate computer skills including familiarity with windows-based programs such as Microsoft productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Word, SQL) Strong technical writing, documentation, and speaking skills Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment Background check results satisfactory to SEL Negative drug test result(s) Preferred Qualifications Experience troubleshooting process and machinery problems Experience writing and/or conducting Design of Experiments Experience preparing and analyzing materials cross-sections for microscopic analysis Experience programming and maintaining automated manufacturing equipment and machinery Working knowledge of basic analog and digital electronics Physical Requirements Lift and maneuver 40 pounds Pull weight from high/low shelves Reach Bend Grip Twist Sit and/or stand at least 8 hours Fine finger dexterity Competitive pay. Pay Range Data We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills. Pay range for the Process Engineering Technician II position is $35.83 - $52.94 per hour. Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. Requirements

  • Two-year degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience providing process, engineering, or equipment programming support in a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of Design for Manufacturability guidelines
  • Working knowledge of statistical or data analysis methods
  • Working knowledge of project management methods
  • Working knowledge of the manufacturing processes and equipment relevant to the role.
