About The Position

The Process Improvement Intern will support the Quality Improvement team in various initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of organizational processes. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in quality management and process improvement within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in good academic standing working towards a bachelor’s degree.
  • Must be available to participate for the full 12-week internship duration.
  • Must be able to work onsite as required by the internship program.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to support quality improvement projects – Basic
  • Ability to prepare clear reports and presentations for stakeholders – Basic
  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to solutions – Basic
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for analysis and documentation – Basic
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team – Basic
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills – Basic
  • Communication: Can clearly communicate findings, ideas, and recommendations to team members and stakeholders through reports and presentations.
  • Collaboration: Can effectively work with cross-functional teams, contributing to brainstorming sessions and supporting team objectives.
  • Analytical Thinking: Can systematically collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Initiative: Demonstrates a willingness to take on new challenges, conduct literature reviews, and seek out best practices in quality improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in collecting and analyzing data related to quality improvement projects.
  • Support the development and implementation of quality improvement plans and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify areas for process improvement and develop strategies to address them.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
  • Conduct literature reviews to gather information on best practices in quality improvement.
  • Support the monitoring and evaluation of ongoing projects to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Quality Assurance and/or Quality Program Manager.
