Process/Robotics Engineer
About The Position
An established manufacturing operation in Rostraver Township, PA is seeking a hands-on Process Engineer to support daily production and robotic manufacturing systems. This role plays a critical part in optimizing automated work cells, maintaining equipment, and driving continuous process improvement in a fast-paced production environment. They manufacture glass for aerospace, defense and medical device industries. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys hands-on automation, floor-level problem-solving, and working closely with production teams in a stable and growing manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field
- Previous manufacturing experience (internships acceptable)
- Comfortable working directly with production equipment and tools
- CMM machine
- Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency required)
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and optimize production work cells and robotic systems
- Partner with engineering to execute daily production plans
- Perform maintenance, repairs, light programming, inventory management, and equipment upkeep
- Troubleshoot process and product issues; conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventative actions
- Develop and maintain documentation for parts, processes, and new product integration
- Support scaling of small-batch processes into larger-volume production
