About The Position

 Interface with the Production Superintendent, Production Supervisor and Lead Technicians to provide support for troubleshooting and problem-solving activities.  Performs function test after maintenance with Chemical Technicians as needed to develop culture of function test after maintenance.  Audit the plant for safety and housekeeping compliance.  Writes/updates standard operating procedures and production instructions as needed.  Prepare an annual action plan to support the department and company objectives.  Prepare a monthly report of activities and action plan progress to the Production Manager.  Supports Production with Plant Trials and MOC’s as needed.  Promotes good housekeeping standards and initiates corrective action of hazardous and unsafe conditions in the plant.  On a periodic basis, covers weekend call duty for the plant.  Special assignments and projects assigned by the Production Manager/Superintendent.  Investigate non-conformance and prepare corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.  Provide technical support for DeltaV DCS and related equipment.  Must demonstrate the following emotional intelligence skills:  Emotional Empathy  Positive Attitude  Excellent Communication Skills  Flexibility / Adaptability  Interpersonal Skills
