About The Position

AriensCo is seeking a motivated and passionate Process Technician that will provide support for production assembly lines and operations personnel, focusing on maximizing employee safety, product quality, delivery and productivity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

A technical degree is preferred but not required
Experience using lean principles to drive continuous improvement
Ability to plan, coordinate, and implement projects ranging in size and scope
Experience dealing with a variety of people in a variety of settings
Moderate level or above computer skills with MS Office preferred
A strong mechanical aptitude
An ability to communicate effectively – written or verbal
Ability to stand for 8-10 hours a day, depending on the shift
Must be able to use hands to position parts in place
Able to lift up to 35 pounds at varying frequencies
Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment
Desire for personal development and growth
Ability to work as part of a team

Responsibilities

Live and promote the Ariens Core Values and 15 Principles

Conduct cycle timing/line balancing
Support updating standard work & binder
Identify and implement VA/VE projects
Support process audits
Support torque audits
Support CI log process
Support safety/ergo team
New line layout/setup
Supporting new technology integration
Identify and implement new tooling
Audit tooling/fixtures
Troubleshoot tooling issues
Submit maintenance/SAFA request
Production Verification (PV) build support
Design Verification (DV) build support
Manage impact of PCS changes on the line
Train and develop others as necessary
