What You’ll Do As a Processing Associate, you’ll be part of our team located in Fullerton, CA. You’ll get to: Apply coatings and paints to aerospace parts using spray equipment or manual techniques. Operate sandblasting equipment to clean, roughen, or prepare surfaces for coating. Prepare parts for finishing by masking and unmasking components according to work instructions. Ensure uniform and defect-free finishes by carefully following process guidelines. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications to determine finishing requirements. Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards. Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure safe and efficient operations. Follow safety procedures and properly handle hazardous materials, including paints and solvents. Complete production logs and documentation as required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in aerospace finishing, painting, or processing preferred.
  • Proficiency in using spray painting equipment and sandblasting tools.
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions and quality standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to detect surface imperfections.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 20 lbs., and perform repetitive motions.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures related to handling coatings, chemicals, and protective equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
