Processing Technician - Central Processing Unit - Full Time - Evenings

Register patients, process requisition forms and perform accessioning functions. Conduct centrifugation and separate samples into aliquots. Label specimens, and distribute them to appropriate laboratory sections for testing. This is an evening shift position working from 4:00 pm - 12:00 am, plus alternate weekends and rotating holidays. Location is our Columbia campus in Upper Manhattan/Washington Heights.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years experience in specimen processing in a clinical laboratory
- Prior data entry experience
