About The Position

Ensure timely delivery of purchase orders by confirming fax transmittals and emails were received by suppliers. Prepare and process purchase orders through EDI system. Perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining files, processing paperwork and operating office machines. Ensure data integrity by maintaining and updating item system information such as pricing updates, purchasing and customer deal entry. Process vendor bills, input customer orders and create customer information sheets. Assist with semi-annual food show by typing show books, arranging for show samples, and covering the registration desk. Keeps customers informed by creating and communicating weekly customer bulletins, seasonal brochures, show books and weekly meat pricing. Communicates with vendors regarding billing and inventory reports. May perform other duties as assigned to help meet business objectives.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access and Outlook)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Data entry experience
