About The Position

Kalos Services is seeking a Procurement Assistant – Plumbing Division to take full ownership of material purchasing, vendor coordination, and jobsite delivery logistics for our plumbing projects. This role is critical to ensuring our field teams have the right materials, at the right time, at the right cost—without delays or confusion. This is not a passive purchasing role. We need someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and accountable for keeping projects moving.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably within the HVAC or refrigeration industry preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Business or a related field preferred.
  • Strong integrity and ethical grounding.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High proficiency in spreadsheet software, such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service orientation, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels within the organization.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Own all plumbing material procurement from PO creation through delivery confirmation
  • Review project drawings, specs, and BOMs to ensure accurate material takeoffs
  • Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Foremen on material needs and timelines
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with plumbing suppliers and vendors
  • Track and manage purchase orders, backorders, and delivery schedules
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate pricing where appropriate
  • Ensure materials meet project specifications and quality standards
  • Resolve material discrepancies, shortages, or delivery issues quickly
  • Maintain organized procurement logs and documentation in ClickUp or internal systems
