Assist in corporate purchasing by developing a thorough understanding of purchasing policies, procurement protocols, and procurement software to ensure seamless ordering processes. Manage inventory levels across multiple branches by monitoring stock, maintaining appropriate par levels, and analyzing inventory needs to determine if adjustments are necessary. Confirm receipt of purchase orders and packing slips, ensuring accurate documentation and data entry within our inventory management database. Maintain the inventory management database to uphold 100% inventory accuracy across all branches, proactively addressing any discrepancies. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to circumvent back orders by finding substitute items. Assist in evaluating supplier performance based on quality, reliability, and responsiveness to ensure optimal vendor relationships. Support the implementation of procurement strategies and initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and reducing costs within the HSS procurement function. Provide administrative support to the purchasing team, including data entry, filing, and generating reports as needed.
