Join the Procurement Excellence team, where we elevate procurement performance through analytics, digital tooling, and continuous improvement. As an intern, you will support procurement analytics, market intelligence, and process optimization initiatives that enhance decision-making and operational effectiveness across sourcing and vendor management. You’ll gain hands-on experience working with data, enterprise tools, and cross-functional stakeholders while learning how procurement drives value in a healthcare organization. Your work will contribute to meaningful improvements that support internal teams and the communities we serve.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking academic program in business, supply chain, information systems, data analytics, statistics, or a related field
- Strong curiosity and interest in how data, tools, and processes support business and operational decision-making
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills
- Interns must reside in the state of North Carolina for the duration of the program
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Tableau
- Prior internship or project experience in Data Analytics and Ai concepts
- Comfortable communicating and presenting with various audiences
- Interest in digital transformation, process improvement, or performance excellence concepts
