About The Position

We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team as a Procurement Intern. In this position, you will play a vital role in our procurement operations, assisting with supplier management, purchasing processes, and cost optimization strategies. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to develop valuable skills in procurement while working closely with experienced professionals and cross functional exposure and training with key stakeholders including: Marketing, Production, Planning and Quality teams. Must be local to Yuba City and surrounding areas. Internship starting first week of June. Hours will be Tuesday-Thursday 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Requirements

• Interns must currently be attending college and preferably majoring in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Marketing or Engineering
• Must be local to Yuba City and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Supply Chain / Procurement change management coordination (e.g. branding/rebranding of existing SKU's material, innovation, cost savings)
• Work with multiple internal customers and responding to project requirements
• Assist Buyers with analysis and/or transactional activities.
• Delivery, lead time confirmations with suppliers
• Monitor the suppliers for quality, performance, and price.
• Inventory management
